Production Log 5. 26/2/10

Over this double lesson and into the weekend we filmed the entire piece. We have given ourselves plenty of time as in the preliminary task we felt that we rushed it slightly and because of this visible continuity errors were present. We aimed to film every scene from as many different angles as we could, numerous times. This should ensure that when it comes to editing we definately have a clip for each scene that we are happy with.

We found it difficult to get blood (ketchup) in our scene without possibly staining the floor. Therefore Harry thought of using clingfilm underneath as it shouldn’t appear on the camera. This enabled us to have blood. I also felt that it was difficult to get the right colour balance as we wanted it to be dark/night but that meant the quality of the video decreased.

Other than this, everything went smoothly and we feel reasonably pleased with the footage we have and are ready for editing next week.
